VPS Land Assessment and Planning is a Northern Territory based environmental and natural resource management consulting business established by Graeme Owen.

Graeme has over 15 years experience in natural resource management and was a Soil Landscape Scientist with the Northern Territory Department of Land Resource Management.  He has extensive experience in land suitability assessment to identify  constrained and unconstrained land, soil survey and mapping and geographic information systems (GIS).  Having been involved in assessing and reviewing development and clearing applications from 2 lot subdivisions to whole suburbs whilst working for the NT Government, Graeme has sound knowledge and understanding of development assessment process.

VPS objective is to assist clients involved in the planning, development and sustainable use of land resources.  VPS can provide specialist input for planning and development as well as soil survey and land suitability assessments for specific property developments including rural residential, horticulture, clearing and effluent disposal.  VPS can assist with baseline soil surveys for site characterization, site analysis (opportunities and constraints) studies and provide advice to people looking to buy a rural property in the Top End.
